The North Canterbury community is reeling after five people died in road crashes in just three days.
Two of the accident spots are three minutes drive from each other.
On Friday afternoon a school bus carrying Rangiora High School students and a car collided at an intersection just outside of Sefton in North Canterbury.
On Sunday night, two cars hit head on, resulting in the deaths of three people.
