No power, no hot water millions of dollars of damage. Around 200 residents and more than 20 businesses are dealing with the aftermath of a massive fire in a central Auckland suburb.
Authorities believe the fire was deliberately lit - in the basement of a large apartment block in Newmarket.
Business owners say the fire has caused huge losses to them and residents have been left to find shelter elsewhere.
