For the second time in a fortnight, US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden have consoled a community grieving after a mass shooting.
First it was Buffalo where 10 people died inside a supermarket. Today they were in Uvalde meeting the families of the 19 school children and two teachers killed in the Robb Elementary school massacre.
It comes as anger mounts over the delayed police response which saw officers waiting more than an hour before storming the classrooms and killing the gunman.
