Who is to blame for skyrocketing inflation - problems created overseas or the government due to its economic management?
Annual inflation has hit 6.9 percent - while slightly below expectations, it's still the biggest annual rise since mid-1990.
The biggest cost drivers are food, fuel and housing. The government's blaming global economic challenges but opposition parties say it has to take some responsibility for the price increases which are causing real pain for many New Zealanders.
