Immunisation Advisory Centre director Dr Nikki Turner joins Checkpoint to discuss why booster shots were brought forward from four to three months after a second dose of the Covid-19 Pfizer vaccine.
She says it's unlikely healthy people will continue to need booster shots, but they might become a yearly event, such as flu vaccines, for those who are vulnerable and at high risk.
