South Auckland community leaders are confident all three DHBs in Tāmaki Makaurau will hit 90 percent fully vaccinated.
And while the race is on to get the city out of lockdown before Christmas, leaders say it is going to take a lot of work to reach those pockets of the community that have still not yet received a jab.
