Bad weather is hampering the search for a King Country man and his three children missing on the North Island's rugged west coast.
34-year-old Thomas Phillips and his children Ember, Maverick and Jayda - aged five to eight - were last seen at Marokopa on Saturday.
The search began on Monday and the police remain committed to finding them. The extended family says they are very anxious and fearful.
