The seaside community of Algies Bay, north of Auckland, has been rocked by a case of Covid-19, with the local rest home declared an exposure site.
A staff member at Amberlea Rest Home worked two shifts while unknowingly infected. The facility is now in lockdown and locals say their sense of security has vanished.
