Slow response to Highbrook vaccine error 'regrettable' - Hipkins

From Checkpoint, 5:07 pm on 25 August 2021

"Regrettable" is how the Covid-19 Response Minister has described the slow response to a vaccine botch up, that may have resulted in five people possibly missing a Covid-19 vaccine.

On Wednesday morning RNZ revealed five people may have been given a dose of harmless saline instead of a Covid-19 vaccine at the Highbrook centre last month.

Health authorities have defended the decision not to go public, saying they were waiting on expert advice.
