Covid-19 essential business criteria - the legal details

Some businesses are questioning why they cannot do business during the alert level 4 lockdown, when others selling exactly the same stuff have queues of customers down the block.

Supermarkets are open but vege shops and butchers are generally not. MBIE has published the guidelines and it says its also about limiting the overall number of places that are open in alert level 4 and therefore limiting Covid-19 transmission.
