Covid-19: Ardern announces Level 4 lockdown, Delta suspected

A case of Covid-19 has been detected in Auckland this afternoon. It is not yet known, but suspected to be the Delta variant.

All of New Zealand will move to Alert Level Four from 11:59pm Tuesday.

Auckland and Coromandel will likely remain under those restrictions for seven days.

The rest of the country only three days.
