Quarantine-free NZ-AUS travel suspended - latest details

The trans-Tasman bubble has officially burst and with it the plans of those hoping to visit loved ones across the ditch.

The government today announced quarantine-free travel with Australia will be suspended for at least eight weeks from 11.59pm Friday.

It is organising managed flights out of all states to get up to 20,000 New Zealanders home.
