Fifteen mariners on the foreign fishing vessel Viking Bay, which is now moored in Wellington, have been infected with Covid-19.
The Spanish flagged ship arrived in Wellington yesterday and the 15 fishermen are now holed up in a quarantine facility in the city.
Meanwhile another Spanish flagged ship has been to shore in New Plymouth today to have its crew tested, with almost everyone on board experiencing flu like symptoms.
