A man's described the terrifying moment a car smashed into his home - ripping through the floorboards where they'd just been sitting.
The two occupants of the car died in the crash on Warspite Avenue in Porirua at about 11.30pm Sunday.
Niraj Prasard says the car swerved across his neighbours front lawn, smashing into his car before stopping under his house.
Emma Hatton spoke to him outside his destroyed home.
Police say the circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
