Whanganui school students will be the first in the country to be vaccinated at school from the beginning of the next school term.
At least 1600 students aged over 16 along with around 700 teachers will be offered their first Pfizer vaccines at school from early August.
The city's senior students will be immunised before they sit exams, and as Ella Stewart reports, it's hoped the rollout will work as a template for the rest of the country.
