Travellers from NSW now face 14 days MIQ

The trans-Tasman travel bubble is deflating fast. New Zealanders wanting to escape New South Wales will now have to undergo 14 days in a managed isolation facility upon their arrival.

The Australian state has recorded another 44 cases of covid-19 in the community today - 29 of the cases were either fully or partially in the community while infectious.

That's led to a further tightening of restrictions there. Green flights, which were due to start from tomorrow have also been delayed for at least another three days.
