It is time to get things moving - that is the message from the minister in charge of bringing together a steering group to decide the future of Ihumātao.
The rōpū whakahaere, or steering committee, made up of representatives from the council, Crown, Kiingitanga and mana whenua, has yet to be established.
They will consider whether to include housing on the whenua - which some mana whenua expressed opposition to - although the government is adamant whare will be built.
