Ardern holds to pension age promise, despite Treasury warning

The Prime Minister is standing firm on the political hot potato of superannuation, despite Treasury warning the cost of the ageing population is on an "unsustainable" track.

Politicians have been told for years the costs of superannuation, and the likes of healthcare will skyrocket as the baby boomers head for retirement.

But Jacinda Ardern has pledged to never raise the age of entitlement, as John Key did before her.
