Rallies and picket lines are organised across the country and tomorrow nurses will strike after negotiations with district health boards reached a stalemate.
At least 30,000 nurses will take part in the eight-hour strike, having overwhelmingly rejected district health boards' latest offer on pay and conditions.
Hospitals will remain open, and there will still be essential, life-saving services. Amy Williams filed this report.
