WaterCare says it has some sympathy for the Aucklanders whose water costs will double in the next ten years, but says - unfortunately - it's a necessary pill to swallow.
Aucklanders meanwhile think there must be other ways to pay for this without saddling those worse off and hit hard by Covid-19 shut-downs.
