From Checkpoint, 6:10 pm on 31 May 2021

A jury's been told a man who died in custody likely would have survived if he had have got the medical treatment he needed.

Three Taranaki police officers are on trial charged with manslaughter, over the death of Allan Ball.

Ball died on the concrete floor of the Hawera Police Station in the early hours in June 2019.

Our Taranaki Whanganui reporter Robin Martin has been at the High Court in New Plymouth.
