Radiation therapy for cancer patients is likely to be back on at the Waikato DHB by the middle of next week as it starts restoring its IT services.
It comes with a caveat though. It will not be at full capacity and some patients will still need to be sent to other centres for treatment.
The entire Waikato DHB system crashed 12 days ago after a ransomware attack from overseas.
