Long-serving staffer at NZ High Commission in India dies

A long-serving staff member at the New Zealand High Commission in New Delhi has died of Covid-19.

The Indian staff member started working at the Commission in 1986 - when Sir Edmund Hillary was High Commissioner.

He died in hospital on the 16 May.

Foreign Affairs Minister Nanaia Mahuta says she was deeply saddened to learn of the staff members death.
