Death in custody at Hawera police station preventable - Crown

The High Court at New Plymouth has heard a man who died while in custody at the Hawera Police Station last year would have survived if he had got medical attention sooner.

Allen Ball died in the early hours of June 1 last year. Three police officers are jointly charged with his manslaughter.
