Abuse in Care: Man recalls systemic violence in boys' homes

Systemic violence experienced during five-years of institutional care has been outlined to the Abuse in Care Royal Commission.

Tyrone Marks first came to the attention of Social Welfare at the age of three. He was made a state ward aged nine and was in a number of boys' homes until 16.

He's told the inquiry violence from staff and among other boys was just the way it was. Andrew McRae reports.
