Maritime Union discusses vaccine hesitancy at NZ ports

Some port workers around New Zealand in "high risk" roles handling international goods are refusing the Covid-19 vaccine.

Health bosses in Tairawhiti have expressed concern it makes communities vulnerable. They say not knowing exactly how many have declined to be vaccinated compounds the issue.

Maritime Union's national Secretary Craig Harrison says it is a problem in other pockets of the country too.

He talks to Lisa Owen.
