We are here before you, because we are scared" - that was the message to Wellington councillors from the Alliance Against Sexual Violence this morning.
Three weeks on from their rally which called for more action against sexual violence, members are now voicing the demands to the politicians.
They want more funding for prevention organisations, better street safety, and more prevention and intervention training for hospitality staff. Harry Lock reports.
