NZ's Fijian-Indians challenge 'Asian' label

Fijian-Indians living here are opposing their official classification as Asians and not Pacific Islanders.

The 2018 Census shows just over 15,000 people identify with the Fijian-Indian ethnic group - an increase of about 5,000 from the 2013 count.

They say labelling them as Asians is wrong. Christine Rovoi reports.
