The lawyer for a group Chinese workers who were allegedly trafficked says they cannot be deported until a full investigation is carried out.
Ten men were detained last week by immigration officials who say they were working illegally at construction sites in Auckland.
They're being held in custody, where their lawyer went to see them today.
