America's Cup storm over Covid alert levels, racing - analysis

The ship storm continues to brew over the Prada Cup final that will be raced this weekend after a very public throw-down between the Challenger of Record and America's Cup organisers America's Cup Events.

Effectively, ACE wanted to wait until alert level 1 in Auckland so fans could watch en masse, but COR, Luna Rossa demanded racing continue according to the rules.

ACE is accusing Luna Rossa of being inflexible and self interested while failing to demonstrate honour and respect for the country.
