Plans for a new Christchurch cycleway will continue, despite an attempt to halt the process earlier today.
Hundreds of residents and several business owners are frustrated and upset they weren't involved prior to the creation of the $19 million design.
Christchurch City Council has now promised to involve the community as they improve the heavily criticised plans.
