Masterton police admit taking illegal photos of young Maori

The police watchdog has launched a nationwide probe after police in Masterton admitted illegally photographing young Maori in the district. The practice came to light after inquires from RNZ about multiple reports of rangatahi having their photos taken by officers, when they were just out walking in the town alone.
