Brits shut out Europe over super spreading Covid variant

European nations are imposing travel bans on the UK after it reported a more-infectious coronavirus variant. Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Belgium are all halting flights. Here in New Zealand, a top epidemiologist says extra safety measures should be introduced at the border to stop the new strain from coming into the country. Kate Gregan reports.
