Grace Millane's killer loses appeal, but cannot be named

Grace Millane's killer has lost his bid to overturn his conviction and sentence for murdering the British backpacker but he still cannot be named.

Name suppression was due to lapse this morning, with the release of the Court of Appeal's judgment.

But the 28-year-old man's legal team mounted a last-ditch appeal to the Supreme Court to keep his identity secret.
