An independent review into workplace culture at the South Island's largest port has found numerous accounts of bullying, homophobia, racism and sexism.
Findings into the culture at Lyttelton Port showed that staff were in fear of speaking out, offensive behaviour was normalised and that the port lacks diversity.
The executive summary of the review was released to the public this morning, but the port is refusing to release the full review, saying it contains confidential employment matters.
The port says it is accepting all 32 recommendations made by Maria Dew QC, who authored the review.
