Tarras airport protestors play dead at council meeting

Plans for a proposed airport in a small South Island town faced strong push back during a Christchurch City Council meeting today.

Just a day after the New Zealand Government declared a climate emergency, protesters pretended to die in front of Christchurch councillors - with a message to stop plans for an International Airport being built at Tarras, in Central Otago.
