Abuse survivor urges change to Catholic Church system

A woman who was abused as a child by a Marist Brother has challenged the Church to make urgent changes to the way it operates.

The Royal Commission on Abuse in Care is hearing from people abused in while in the care of the Catholic and Anglican Churches and the Salvation Army.

Twenty-three survivors will be giving evidence on what happened to them and how they have tried to get redress.
