After weeks of defiance, or some would argue, denial, Donald Trump has started making steps towards conceding defeat.
He has authorised the federal agency that handles the transition of power to allow President Elect Joe Biden access to resources.
The Trump campaign's legal efforts to overturn the election have almost entirely failed in key battleground states.
However, Trump has continued to tweet, saying: "Our case STRONGLY [sic] continues, we will keep up the good fight, and I believe we will prevail!"
But he also confirmed he had recommended handover protocols commence.
