Samoa has recorded its first case of Covid-19, in a sailor who arrived in Samoa on a repatriation flight from Auckland last Friday. Prime Minister Tuila'epa Sa'ilele Malielegaoi made the announcement in a live address to the nation this morning. A second test on the man showed up as negative, but the Prime Minister says the country needs to remain vigilant. He urged the public to keep faith, wear face masks and continue to follow advice given by the authorities and government officals.
