Australian special forces accused of 58 murders-inquiry
Australian special forces have been accused of up to 39 murders of prisoners and civilians in Afghanistan, and 19 current or former soldiers will face criminal investigation. The four-year inquiry found a culture of secrecy, fabrication and deceit. The chief of the Australian Defence Force, General Aungus Campbell says the report shows what he's described as a "disgraceful and a profound betrayal of the Australian Defence Force's professional standards and expectations".
