Aucklanders appear to be broadly in support of mandatory mask-wearing on public transport in the city and on domestic flights around the country.
Many people in the city centre today were wearing a mask, after a community case was announced last week.
Those who didn't have a mask on said they've got one handy, and would wear it where physical distancing is harder.
