Napier flood: Scale of damage still unclear

Four days in and the scale of the damage from Monday's storm in Napier is still unclear.

Sixty-seven homes have been deemed unfit to live in, of which 22 are severely damaged by either slips or flooding caused by torrential rain.

Hawke's Bay Civil Defence and social agencies says they've only been able to access some properties today for the first time, and they're still trying to form a picture of how bad and widespread the damage actually is.
