Covid-19: Health leaders urge better MIQ systems

Meanwhile, there's been just one new case of Covid-19 in New Zealand's managed isolation facilities today.

But as hotels acting as the country's buffer between the outside world reach capacity ahead of Christmas, alarm bells are sounding about their ability to protect New Zealanders from Covid-19 entering our communities.

Epidemiologists and nurses are both calling for better systems in managed isolation - saying the current set-up puts everyone at risk.
