Cantabrians have been streaming into testing centres, following the emergence of a community case of Covid-19.
A health worker at the Sudima Hotel, which operating as both a quarantine and managed isolation facility, has tested positive.
That's the hotel housing the Russian and Ukrainian fishing crews - dozens of whom have also contracted Covid-19.
Health authorities say the worker self isolated as soon as they developed symptoms, but a supermarket has been deep cleaned and a Christchurch school put on alert.
Eleisha Foon has the details.
