Two hundred jobs were lost each day in Auckland in August - according to council number-crunchers.
While better than the 250 daily losses expected - it still tallies up to more than 4,000 jobs going during the recent regional lockdown.
It's made for a competitive job market - applications are surging for customer service and admin roles - which have halved since this time last year.
