1.2m early votes - what does it mean for election night?

While the parties are still traversing the country trying to scoop up all the votes they can, more than a million people have already made up their mind, and had their say.

It's a record breaking rush on the polls and is just shy of the total number of early votes cast in 2017.

So what's the implication for the parties, and election night itself - Katie Doyle went to find out.
