Collins finds campaign comfort in Blenheim crowd

The tables turned on the campaign trail today with Judith Collins putting the boot into Labour while Jacinda Ardern was forced to defend a minister.

The National leader has spent the best part of the week dismissing disunity and dissent in her party after an email critical of her captain calls made its way from her MPs' inboxes to the media.

But today the Labour leader was put in a position she would least like to be in eight days out from the election - justifying money being spent by New Zealand First's Shane Jones.
