Rare parakeets thriving after wobbly start to life

Five of New Zealand's rarest parakeet chicks have been successfully hand raised after they were apparently abandoned by their parents. Captive breeding manager Jess Flamy told Checkpoint it was a rough start but the parakeets are doing great now.
