It's nearly a year since Auckland's convention centre became the scene of a herculean operation involving 150 firefighters.
An intense fire burned for three days, bringing the city centre shuddering to a standstill and gutting the under-construction centre.
Now Australian counterparts - in an operational review - conclude firefighters could not have prevented the extensive loss and damage but recommend a raft of changes to Fire and Emergency operations.
