As Auckland commuters brace for another long evening in trickling traffic, relief is on its way from Taranaki.
A temporary replacement Harbour Bridge strut will be installed tomorrow night, after damage from a truck that tipped in the wind on Friday closing two lanes in either direction.
Yet it comes with a long-term solution still weeks away, and reduced traffic still clogging into 'severe' congestion.
